SUMMARY:Yes! Trio Featuring Ali Jackson\, Aaron Goldberg & Omer Avital
DESCRIPTION:United by three decades of friendship and a reverence for straight-ahead jazz and swing\, the members of the Yes! Trio are all superstar musicians in their own right. Ali Jackson has played with Wynton Marsalis and the Jazz at Lincoln Center Orchestra since 2005. Omer Avital synthesizes American jazz\, Israeli\, and other Arab styles into something new and vital. And Aaron Goldberg leads his own trio and tours with the Joshua Redman Quartet. Says Yes! Trio\, “We want to connect the sound of the roots of jazz with the present\, because this is what the future of jazz is made of!” \nBuy Tickets

SUMMARY:Mobile Pantry @ Tekonsha Fire Department (Pick-Up)
DESCRIPTION:Our Mobile Market Program was created in an effort to bring healthy foods directly into low-resource communities\, eliminating travel burdens and barriers\, and improving access to essential food items. \nThis initiative acts as a “pantry on wheels”\, offering a selection of meal kits of nutrient-rich pantry staples\, accompanied by simple\, easy-to-follow recipes. In addition\, neighbors can select protein and dairy products\, fresh fruits\, and vegetables to take home with them as well. \nMobile Markets are tailored to serve rural areas\, senior assisted living facilities\, low-income housing communities\, transportation-limited neighborhoods\, and school programs. Our goal is to close food access gaps\, provide nourishment to families\, promote nutrition education\, and strengthen our community by addressing food insecurity. \nA sponsorship of a Mobile Market Program allows South Michigan Food Bank the opportunity to expand to more locations\, enhance our food options\, and support our neighbors facing food insecurity. Your support will bring nutritious foods right to communities that need it most\, ensuring that more of our neighbors have access to the nourishment they need to thrive. For more information on sponsoring a Mobile Market\, and how you can get involved please connect with us at info@smfoodbank.org \nFor those volunteering\, please select dates and locations by using our Volunteer Hub.

SUMMARY:Mobile Pantry @ 207 N. Clinton Street (across the street from Albion Fire Department) (Pick-Up)
DESCRIPTION:Our Mobile Market Program was created in an effort to bring healthy foods directly into low-resource communities\, eliminating travel burdens and barriers\, and improving access to essential food items.
