SUMMARY:American Experience: War of the Worlds

Have you ever wondered why? \nOn October 30\, 2025\, we will air American Experience: The War of the Worlds\, the PBS documentary on the most famous invasion that never happened\, and then ask ourselves: what if there were no cell phones\, no Google\, no 24-hour news stations\, and we trusted radio for news of world events and tragedies? SUMMARY:The Pearl on Broad Opening Reception
DESCRIPTION:The Box Factory for the Arts presents its Series 6 Exhibit – the annual Member Show\, which showcases original works by over 50 regional artists\, all of who are members of the Berrien Artist Guild. More than 100 pieces representing a variety of mediums will be exhibited in galleries on all three floors of the historic building. \n  \nThe public is invited\, free of charge\, to the Opening Reception on Friday\, Nov. 7\, from 5:30 to 7 p.m. The evening’s festivities include a cash bar and refreshments. \n  \nThe theme for this year’s Member Show\, “The Pearl on Broad Street\,” celebrates the Box Factory’s 30thanniversary by incorporating the gemstone that symbolizes a 30-year union. We expect (and appreciate) a broad interpretation of the pearl theme\, which is optional. Works that reflect the theme will be installed together in the Williams Gallery. \n  \nThe Member Show runs from Nov. 7 to Jan. 11\, 2026. The Box Factory’s winter hours are Thursday\, 12-6 p.m.\, and Friday – Sunday\, 12-4 p.m. at 1101 Broad St. in St. Joseph. \nAdmission: Free
