SUMMARY:Hickory Creek Revival
DESCRIPTION:The band Hickory Creek Revival is made up of four siblings who grew up playing folk and bluegrass music in St. Joseph\, MI. Now accomplished musicians\, songwriters and poets\, the Willeys will return to their hometown for a festive concert on Saturday\, November 8\, from 7-9 p.m. at the Box Factory for the Arts. \n  \nAt the performance\, they will also unveil a short documentary about their latest project. \n  \nReserve your seats for this popular band! Tickets are $15 cabaret seating and $12 general admission at ticketstripe.com/hickorycreek2025\, or $15 at the door. Free admission for children 12 and under. A cash bar will be available. \n  \nThe Willeys began playing music together as teens in the 1970s under the name Hickory Creek. Although they dispersed throughout Michigan and have played with other bands\, the four continue to blend their string music and harmonies on originals and traditional folk songs as Hickory Creek Revival. Band members are guitarist and songwriter Andy Willey\, Rick on fiddle and mandolin\, Bob on banjo and harmonica\, and Rose joining her brothers on vocals and songwriting. \n  \nThis performance is special for the siblings\, as their late mother\, Barbara Willey\, was one of the founding members of the Box Factory 30 years ago. “We love playing at the Box. It’s like visiting an old friend\,” said Rose Willey\, who was the driving force behind the band’s current recordings. \nAdmission: $12-15
